Track my runs as recorded by my GPS watch and mapped by Google Maps.
What / Why / How?
What: Track my runs.
Why: I'm a very lazy person. I tell myself I'm going to workout/run often, but invariably an episode of Law and Order or other important things postpone my ambitious plans. Hopefully the peer pressure of people asking where today's run is, will force me to run more.
How: I run wearing a Garmin Forerunner 301 watch. It records a lot of data such as heart rate, speed, distance, and most importantly latitude and longitude coordinates. Using those coordinates and some algorithms I project my run onto the fabulous Google Maps.
